Currently, the State Inspectorate for Small Vessels of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has received 26 declarations from local government bodies — owners of beaches. As explained by Sergey Pletenev, the deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kirov Region, the declaration confirms that the recreational areas being prepared for opening will meet the requirements of the rules for the protection of human life on water bodies. Among those already declared are the following city beaches: in Kirov (on the Vyatka River, near the old bridge), in Kirovo-Chepetsk (on the Cheptsa River), in Slobodskoy (on the Vyatka River), in Belaya Kholunitsa (two beaches on the pond), in Yaran (on the pond), in Luza (on the Luza River), in the village of Murygino in the Yuryansky District (on the Vyatka River), and in other settlements. Work on preparing for the beach season continues. Rescuers and responsible services are checking the infrastructure, organizing rescuer duty shifts, and conducting necessary preventive measures to ensure the safety of vacationers.
