The reports of the FOMS and the Social Fund have been withdrawn from the State Duma.

      The Russian government has withdrawn from the State Duma the draft laws on the execution of the budgets of the Federal Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund (FOMS) and the Social Fund of Russia for the year 2025. Relevant notifications appeared in the electronic database of the parliament.

      The bills were submitted to the State Duma on May 28. They concerned the approval of reports on the execution of the budgets of the two largest extrabudgetary funds of the country for the past year, reports Interfax.

      According to previously presented data, the revenues of the FOMS budget in 2025 amounted to 4.447 trillion rubles, and expenditures were 4.367 trillion rubles. Thus, the fund's budget was executed with a surplus of 80.7 billion rubles.

      In contrast, the budget of the Social Fund of Russia was executed with a deficit. The fund's revenues for 2025 amounted to 16.357 trillion rubles, while expenditures were 17.597 trillion rubles. The deficit exceeded 1.2 trillion rubles.
