In Kirov, work has begun on the improvement of the territories of kindergartens and the roads leading to them. The contracting organization JSC "Gordormoststroy" (GDMS) is already working on several sites.
This week, equipment and crews have been spotted in the Soshensky settlement, as well as on Krasina Street, 2b, Mira Street, 32, and Maklina Street, 24a. In total, the contract for this year includes 29 preschool institutions.
The company clarified what types of work are planned: repair of sidewalks, internal driveways, pedestrian paths, and approaches to verandas. Currently, preparation is underway at the listed sites — dismantling of old curbs and soil development for the installation of new ones. After this, the contractor will carry out sand and gravel foundations, and finally lay asphalt concrete pavement.
An important organizational point: the work is proceeding according to schedule and during the period when kindergartens are closed for vacations.
At the same time, access roads to preschool institutions are being repaired. For example, on Chernyshevsky Street, 6a, new curbs have already been installed, and asphalt paving is promised in the coming days. Improvement work is also underway on Roman Erdyakov Street, 15 and 19 — where two kindergartens are located. A total of 19 access roads are planned for this year, and the press service added that additional sites may be included in the list.
