Malkov has found a temporary replacement.
On June 2, the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, signed decree No. 73 "On the appointment of the acting head of the municipal formation of the Omutninsky municipal district of the Kirov region." According to the document, the decision was made due to the early termination of the powers of the head of the Omutninsky district, Alexander Malkov. Recall that he left his position on February 9 of this year. However, it is unclear why the document appointing the acting head was signed six months later, on June 2. Sergey Kochkin has been appointed as the acting head of the district. He will lead the municipality until the head of the Omutninsky municipal district is elected and takes office in the established manner. The decree came into force today, June 2. Previously, in 2020, Kochkin was appointed as the first deputy head of the administration of the Omutninsky district.
