Kirov municipalities have been allocated 15,000 rubles each for wolf culling.

      The Kirov region government issued a decree approving the distribution of funds allocated from the regional budget to local budgets for regulating the wolf population in 2026. In total, municipalities were allocated 682,500 rubles.

      Thus, the Afanasyevsky district received 112,500 rubles, the Falensky district — 67,500, the Belokholunitsky district — 60,000, the Darovsky district — 52,500, the Murashinsky district and the Shabalinsky district — 45,000 rubles each, and the Verkhoshizhemsky district — 40,000. The others received even less: the Oparinsky district, the Yuryansky and the Podosinovsky districts — 37,500 each, the Nagorsky district — 30,000, the Kotelnichsky and Nolinsky districts and the Orichevsky district — 22,500 each, the Zuyevsky district — 20,000, and the Kilmensky district and the Luzsky district — 15,000 each. As can be seen, the money was distributed very unevenly, and some municipalities will have to fight dangerous predators for a very small amount.
