Every fourth parent in Russia faces injustice due to their children.

The People's Front will transfer to the Ministry of Health the results of monitoring regions with the highest number of complaints from parents. This decision was announced following a meeting of the Council under the President on the implementation of state demographic and family policy.

As stated by the head of the Central Executive Committee of the People's Front, Mikhail Kuznetsov, the demographic plans of families are disrupted not only due to financial reasons—the key issue lies in the social environment. At the same time, every second complaint is related to discrimination by employers: this includes refusal to hire individuals with young children, coercion to resign due to sick leave, and denial of promotions. Every third complaint concerns situations in transport, schools, kindergartens, clinics, or social protection agencies.

The authors of the study draw attention to another indicator: 36% of citizens without children claim that their decision to have a child will not change with increased government support measures. According to them, cultural environment, societal attitudes, and infrastructure quality are what matter.

A separate section addresses the childbirth period. According to surveys and inquiries to the hotline, up to a quarter of women face rudeness, indifference, and inattentiveness from staff. However, the situation is gradually improving: ratings from those who gave birth in recent years are 15% higher than those who gave birth 5–6 years ago. Projects for "maternity hospitals with a soul," where one can meet doctors and learn about the conditions in advance, are particularly in demand.

The People's Front plans to provide the Ministry of Health not only with a list of problematic regions but also with proposals for scaling successful practices.
