      The Prosecutor's Office of the Orichevsky District supported the state prosecution in the criminal case against a 53-year-old local resident with a previous conviction. The woman was found guilty under Part 2 of Article 116.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (beatings). The incident occurred on January 6, 2026, near the "Tulip" store in Orichi. During the conflict, the defendant grabbed the victim by the hair, knocked her down, and then struck her in the face. As a result of the woman's actions, the victim experienced physical pain and had bruises. The accused fully admitted her guilt and apologized to the victim. The court agreed with the prosecutor's position. Considering that the woman had previously been convicted under Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (a particularly serious crime), she was sentenced to 4 months of restriction of freedom. During this period, she will not be able to leave her place of residence without permission and will be registered with a specialized state authority.
