Investigators taught Kirov cadets how to take fingerprints.
Students of the Kirov Cadet Corps took on the role of forensic investigators for a day. Employees of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region visited them.
Representatives of the agency introduced the cadets to the forensic technology available in the regional department's arsenal. Everything they saw sparked lively interest, but the most memorable part was the practical experience.
With the help of a regular brush and special fingerprint powder, the students independently took fingerprints of their classmates. The fingerprinting process was conducted under the supervision of experienced staff, but all actions were carried out by the cadets themselves.
The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region emphasized that such meetings will continue. The main goals are to support the younger generation, preserve the traditions of the agency, and instill an interest in the profession of an investigator among schoolchildren.
