      According to the scenario of the fire-tactical exercises that took place at the Omutninsk enterprise, the fire source was located on the third floor in a working office. Soon, the building filled with thick smoke. The employees tried to extinguish the simulated fire on their own, but were unable to do so. Moreover, one person could not exit the building independently.

      For the simulated emergency, forces and resources from the 42nd fire and rescue unit were immediately dispatched to the scene. During the exercises, the rescuers conducted a reconnaissance of the situation, carried out combat deployment, and practiced actions to eliminate the emergency situation. An evacuation and rescue of people were also organized. Special attention was paid to interaction with the management and staff of the facility — such skills are critically important in a real fire.
