Sheepdogs from the Kirov colony are looking for a new home.
In IK-27 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Kirov Region, families are being sought for two service dogs — a German Shepherd named Jacqueline and a Belgian Malinois named Storm. The animals served for many years in the correctional facility of the Verkhnekamsky District and are now retired.
Jacqueline is 9 years old, and Storm is 8. Both dogs have veterinary documents, necessary vaccinations, and treatments. The facility notes that the dogs have completed general and specialized training courses, know commands, and have calm temperaments.
The former service dogs get along well with people, enjoy active walks and playtime. The Federal Penitentiary Service states that the animals need responsible owners who are ready to provide care and attention after their service.
According to the facility staff, this is an opportunity to bring not just a pet into the family, but a trained and socialized dog with a stable psyche.
For information on the transfer of the animals, you can call: +7 (912) 718-58-64 (Anna).
