According to the GEFS predictive model, more than 120 mm of precipitation may fall in the region by the end of June. For comparison, the average norm for June in Kirov is about 80 mm. This forecast was announced by the authors of the Telegram channel "Amateur Meteorology in Kirov."
Thus, the first month of summer may turn out to be noticeably rainier than usual. If the forecast is confirmed, residents of the region can expect frequent precipitation, damp weather, and high humidity.
Recall that meteorologists had previously reported the possible formation of a low-pressure area over the region in the second half of June. This could also lead to prolonged rains and a drop in temperature.
