The Kirov kettlebell lifter won gold at the Asian Championship in Kazakhstan.
The Championship and the Asian Championship in kettlebell sport have concluded in Kazakhstan. More than 250 athletes from 15 countries participated. Among the Russian team was Kirov resident, Master of Sports Andrey Novoselov.
As reported by the regional Ministry of Sports, he showed the best result among juniors in the "long cycle jerk" discipline. In addition, together with the Russian team, Novoselov won gold in the relay.
The athlete was prepared by Honored Coach of Russia Evgeny Malkov.
The participation of Kirov athletes in such competitions is part of the "Sport of Russia" program (which includes support for talented youth and conditions for professional growth), but the fact of victory is, of course, primarily the achievement of the kettlebell lifter himself and his coach.
