In the Kirov region, they have started to reconsider disputed refusals for the unified allowance.
According to the regional branch of the Social Fund, starting from May 22, specialists are rechecking applications that were denied since the beginning of 2026. So far, the right to benefits has been reassessed for 233 families. Now, positive decisions will be processed automatically — without the need to reapply. Notifications about the assignment of benefits will appear in the personal account on the "Gosuslugi" portal.
It is worth noting that a unified benefit is provided to pregnant women and families with children up to 17 years old. In the Kirov region, more than 35,000 families are currently receiving this support. The main condition remains the income level: the average per capita income of the family must not exceed the subsistence minimum. In 2026, it is set at 16,856 rubles.
Previously, even exceeding the limit by a few rubles automatically resulted in a denial of benefits. Now, the approach has been softened. The amount of the child benefit is half of the regional subsistence minimum for children — in 2026, this is 8,175 rubles.
The Social Fund also reminded large families that to extend the benefit, it is important to submit an application on time — in the last month of receiving the benefit or no later than three months after its expiration.
