On May 21, during a plenary session of the Legislative Assembly, the deputies considered a bill amending the law "On Education in the Kirov Region." It was adopted in two readings. The law states that participants in the special military operation will be able to receive secondary vocational education in another specialty at the expense of the regional budget. Additionally, starting in 2026, large families will be reimbursed for the cost of their children's paid education in colleges and technical schools if there was no opportunity to enroll for free. The initiative was supported by 36 deputies.
