In just one month, 542.2 thousand used cars were sold — 14.1% more than in March and 6.4% higher than the figures for April 2025. The data is provided by the agency "AUTOSTAT."
Among brands, LADA leads (126.1 thousand), followed by Toyota (56.4 thousand), Kia (29.7 thousand), Hyundai (28.8 thousand), and Volkswagen (24.5 thousand). All brands in the top ten showed growth compared to March, with only LADA experiencing a year-on-year decline (-6.8%).
In the model ranking, the first place was taken by the LADA 2107 sedan — 10.5 thousand units. In second place is the Kia Rio (10.3 thousand), and in third place is the Hyundai Solaris (10 thousand). The top five also includes the LADA 4x4 and Toyota Corolla (both at 9.5 thousand). Compared to March, all models are up, with Kia Rio showing the strongest increase (+18.3%). Compared to April last year, there is a decline in three LADA models: the "seven" (-19.3%), the "fourteenth" (-15%), and the "Priora" (-7.9%).
In total, 1.866 million used cars were purchased in the first four months of 2026 (+5.1% compared to the same period in 2025). The import of used passenger cars in April amounted to 41.4 thousand (+9% compared to April 2025, the maximum for the year). The leader in imports among brands is Toyota, and among models, it is the Honda Freed. The main suppliers are Japan (almost 60%), China (22.7%), and South Korea (7.7%).
