It became known where Kirov residents will be allowed to swim in the summer.
For recreation, areas near the pond in the village of Doronichi, in the Fileysky backwater, on the bank of the Vyatka River near house No. 2a on Sverdlov Street, as well as near house No. 1 on Kommuny Street in the Novovyatsky district will be equipped for the residents of Kirov. A municipal contract has already been signed for the maintenance of these areas. Additionally, in the summer, lifeguards will be working at the recreation sites. For this, 16 students from the fire and rescue college will be hired after completing special courses.
Separately, the authorities spoke about the preparation of the city beach near the old bridge. After the water recedes, specialists will assess the condition of the area. Then, deratization and tick treatment will be carried out, garbage will be removed, and shower cabins, toilets, canopies, and changing rooms will be installed. A medic and a lifeguard will also be on duty at the beach.
Swimming will only be officially allowed after Rospotrebnadzor checks the water quality and issues a positive conclusion. Residents of Kirov were also reminded that recreation and swimming in unprepared areas can be life-threatening.
