Career guidance for employees' children in Kirov is conducted by only 14% of companies.

      Analysts from the company asked Kirov employers and parent-employees about the state of career guidance for children. It turned out that real practice exists in only 14% of companies. Most often, they conduct excursions to workshops and laboratories, open days, organize meetings with employees, career diagnostics, lectures, and training sessions. Some employers pay for teenagers' training in working with programs, finance business games on career guidance, or even organize summer labor camps and internships for minors. Olympiads, competitions, and employee participation in school class hours are also utilized.

      Another 26% of the surveyed organizations do not currently conduct career guidance with children but would like to establish this work in the future. Meanwhile, 44% of employers do not see the necessity for it.

      As for parents working in Kirov companies, only 5% of them reported that their employer already conducts career guidance activities for children. At the same time, 58% of parents would like such work to be established. This is especially anticipated by those under 40 years old: 71% of them expressed support for employer-led career guidance. Among parents aged 40 and older, this figure was 49%.
