About 25 thousand pilgrims will arrive in Kirov.

      A meeting dedicated to the preparation for the Velikoretsky pilgrimage took place in the Kirov administration. According to the Vyatka Diocese, about 25,000 pilgrims are expected this year, coming to the regional center from various regions of Russia and other countries.

      Parking for the buses of the pilgrimage participants is planned to be organized on Dynamo Drive and in Pioneer Lane. The authorities also intend to tidy up the areas around the Trifon Monastery, the "Labor Reserves" stadium, and the ravine area where pilgrims usually gather.

      As reported by the administration, bio-toilets and trash containers will be installed at the stopping points, and trading points with essential goods will also be organized. Additional signs for visitors will appear on the streets near the monastery.

      Furthermore, before the start of the pilgrimage, the city areas along the pilgrims' route will be treated for ticks. Contractors will also clean the roads and check the condition of the trees along the streets.

      The administration added that a resolution for holding the pilgrimage will be prepared in the near future. The document will specify the streets that will be temporarily closed during the passage of the pilgrims.
