In Sovetsk, a dog bit a child.
Materials from the police and the veterinary management regarding a violation of veterinary legislation by a resident of Sovetsk have been received by the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Kirov Region.
As reported by the agency, a dog bit a minor child born in 2015 during a walk on the street. After that, the owner did not provide the animal to a veterinary institution for examination and quarantine within 12 hours.
In addition, it was found that the dog had not been vaccinated against rabies and did not have a veterinary passport. According to Rosselkhoznadzor, this posed a threat of spreading a dangerous disease.
The agency pointed out the violation of the law "On Veterinary Medicine" and the rules for rabies prevention. On May 12, the owner of the animal was warned about the inadmissibility of such violations.
