The ventilation will be repaired in the Kotel'nich school with black mold.

      Parents of students at School No. 3 in Kotel'nich have turned to the People's Front. They reported that after the major renovation in 2024 (roof and windows for 8.2 million rubles), black mold began to spread in the gym and five classrooms. In their opinion, during the work, the builders may have blocked the exhaust ventilation with debris, causing condensation to accumulate on the walls and ceiling.

      Following the appeal from the People's Front, the prosecutor's office and Rospotrebnadzor conducted an inspection. Violations were confirmed: the state of the ventilation had not been checked even once (although it is required every 10 years), the grilles were dirty, and the air temperature in some rooms did not meet the standards.

      The mold has now been removed from the classrooms, and physical education classes are temporarily held elsewhere. More than 1 million rubles have been allocated from the city budget for the restoration of ventilation and elimination of violations. The work is promised to be completed by the beginning of the new school year.
