The head of the Luzsky district may be dismissed.

      At a government meeting, the head of the region, Alexander Sokolov, reminded that in 2024 he had instructed the leadership of the Luzhsky district to repair the pedestrian bridge in Lalsk, which local residents had complained about. However, this has not been done yet. According to Sokolov, local authorities are doing everything possible not to fulfill the instruction — they conducted 25 inspections and tried to shift the repair to the Public-Private Partnership Initiative, that is, to the people's budget, whereas the instruction specified that the repair should be funded from the district budget. Sokolov ordered the head of the district, Lyudmila Belyaeva, to fulfill the instruction within a month and prepare for the work, and to repair the bridge by the end of summer. Otherwise, the governor promised to address the local deputies regarding a vote of no confidence in Belyaeva and her removal from office.
