Putin awarded three teachers and a medical worker from Kirov.

      Last week, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on new state awards. This was reported at today's meeting by the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov.

      Thus, for her merits in the field of education and many years of conscientious work, the medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the second degree was awarded to Elena Kashina, the director of the school in the village of Burmakino in the Kirovo-Chepetsk district. For similar merits, a presidential commendation was awarded to Natalia Voytenko, a teacher at the school in the village of Orichi, and Larisa Shuvanova, a master of industrial training at the Zuevsky Technological College. The chief physician of the Kirov Regional Narcological Dispensary, Elena Tominina, was awarded the title of "Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation" for her contributions to healthcare.
