In the Kirov region, 93 apartment buildings are being constructed.

      Currently, 44 permits have been issued for the construction of apartment buildings. There are 93 buildings under construction with a total living area of 627 thousand square meters. The annual housing input plan for the region in 2026 is set at 596 thousand square meters. In the first quarter of 2026, 102.56 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned. The Ministry of Construction explained that the completion of buildings traditionally occurs at the end of the year, and the high figures for the first quarter of 2025 were related to the postponement of the completion of several buildings from December 2024 to early 2025. At the same time, in 2024 and 2025, the region exceeded its housing input plans. It is also reported that 56 contracts for integrated development of territories (IDT) have been signed for areas with a total area of 3,608 thousand square meters. This will allow for the construction of more than 3,277 thousand square meters of multi-family housing and social infrastructure. Recall that earlier Kirovstat reported a sharp decline in the construction industry in the first quarter of 2026 — the volume of work decreased by 45% compared to the same period last year.
