      According to the regional Ministry of Environmental Protection, collection points for tires that have lost their operational properties continue to operate in the Kirov region. Old tires can be disposed of until the end of May. In the regional center, there are two collection points: at 47A/1 Luganskaya Street, and on the territory where the landfill used to be, near the village of Lubyagino (16th kilometer of the Soviet tract). Four more collection points have been organized in other municipalities: in Slobodskoy (34 Nikolskaya), in Kotel'nich (1 Lesnoy Tupik), in Kirovo-Chepetsk (5A Zavodskaya), and in Yaran'sk (2 Transportnaya). It is noted that additional tire collection points were created after appeals to the regional government. According to the ministry, this is particularly relevant during the seasonal tire change, when the volume of used tires significantly increases.
