According to the regional FSB office, the man was identified during operational-search activities. According to the investigation, he publicly promoted the activities of a terrorist organization banned in Russia and provoked conflict situations. A criminal case was initiated against the resident of Kirov under Part 1 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public justification and propaganda of terrorism) and Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism). The investigation was conducted by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region. The Central District Military Court found Levano M. E. guilty. He was sentenced to five years in prison to be served in a general regime colony. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
