In the Kirov region, the industrial production index increased from January to March 2026. According to Kirovstat, the indicator reached 106.8% compared to the same period last year.
In the first three months of the year, enterprises in the region shipped goods of their own production and provided works and services worth 163.2 billion rubles. The greatest growth was shown by manufacturing industries — the index in this sector reached 107%.
A positive trend was also noted in the field of electricity, gas, and steam supply — 106.6%, and in the water supply, wastewater disposal, and waste management sector — 102.7%.
The only major sector where a decline was recorded was the extraction of mineral resources. Here, the index was 86.9% compared to January - March of last year.
