      In the Kirov region, a decrease in the water level in the Vyatka River has been recorded. According to hydrological posts, over the past day, the water level has decreased along the entire stretch from Nagorsk to Vyatskiye Polyany. As of the morning of May 6, the water level near Kirov was 433 cm from the zero mark — this is 4 cm lower than the previous day. Despite the positive dynamics, 107 household territories remain flooded in the Vyatskopolansky, Kotelnychsky, Malmyzhsky, Nolin, Soviet districts, and in the city of Kirov, as well as 12 sections of local roads in the Vyatskopolansky, Kotelnychsky, Soviet districts, and in Kirov. Operational groups and rescuers continue to be on duty in the flood zones, and targeted assistance has been organized for residents. The Ministry of Emergency Situations notes that the life support of the population has not been disrupted, and evacuation is not required.
