A large landscape fire occurred in Kirov.

      On May 4, fire and rescue units in the Kirov region responded six times to extinguish fires. Among them was one landscape fire.

      In Malmyzh, on Pervomayskaya Street, the fire engulfed outbuildings and a residential house. The area of the fire was 45 square meters. Seven people and three units of equipment were involved in extinguishing it. According to preliminary data, the cause was a malfunction of electrical equipment.

      Another serious fire occurred in the village of Karpovy in the Slobodsky district — a private residential house with a wooden extension caught fire. The area of the fire was 60 square meters. Thirteen rescuers and four units of equipment worked at the scene. The presumed cause was also problems with electrical equipment.

      In Kirov, in the area of the village of Bolshaya Gora, the fire destroyed 1500 square meters of dry grass. According to preliminary reports, the fire occurred due to careless handling of fire.

      At the same time, responses to road traffic accidents were registered throughout the day.
