The specialized investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kirov region is investigating the circumstances of an accident that claimed the life of a 25-year-old resident of Kirov. The subject of the case is a 21-year-old girl who was driving a Hyundai Solaris.
The preliminary version of the investigation is as follows: on the evening of May 1, on Vorovsky Street near house 104A, the driver of the passenger car was exiting an adjacent territory. She was making a left turn towards Marshal Konev Street. At that moment, a collision occurred with a Honda motorcycle that was traveling on Vorovsky Street from Mendeleev towards Builders Avenue.
As a result of the impact, the 25-year-old motorcyclist sustained multiple injuries. The doctors were unable to save his life — he died in a medical facility.
A criminal case has been initiated against the girl under part 3 of article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Violation of traffic rules resulting in the death of a person through negligence). The investigation is currently ongoing, and necessary examinations have been appointed. All circumstances of the incident are being established.
