A court case took place in Kirov due to the hero of the film "Brother-2".

      Recently, the Second Arbitration Court of Appeal in Kirov reviewed a case regarding copyright infringement of the film "Brother-2" (18+). This was reported by the court's press service.

      It became known that the rights to the film belong to the film company "STV" (St. Petersburg). Its representatives discovered counterfeit car air fresheners featuring the film's character Danila Bagrov and his quote on one of the marketplaces. They sent a complaint to the seller, an entrepreneur from Kostroma, demanding compensation for the infringement. However, they could not reach an agreement, and the film company turned to the Arbitration Court of the Kostroma Region, seeking to recover 317,000 rubles.

      The court of first instance partially satisfied the claim, ordering the defendant to pay 24,000 rubles. The film company filed an appeal, which was reviewed by the Second Arbitration Court of Appeal. It concluded that the plaintiff's demands should be fully satisfied. This decision was later confirmed by the Intellectual Property Court.
