AI can only be used in campaigning with the written consent of the person being copied by the neural network. Such permission can be granted by citizens of the country who are at least 18 years old. The generated AI content can be used by both the candidate themselves and the electoral association representing their interests.
The law also stipulates that when using generated images or voices of individuals affiliated with foreign agents in campaigning, it must be accompanied by a special label. This is reported by "Kommersant."
