The mobile concrete plant has started operations at the construction site of the school in Kotelnich.

      The equipment is being installed by the contractor of the construction company "ROST." The installation of the plant directly on the construction site will allow for complete control over the production of concrete mix, which is critically important for pouring monolithic foundations and erecting the building's frame.

      Directly on the site, the company will be able to guarantee the exact grade of concrete, ensure the continuity of pouring, and accelerate the pace of construction, independent of the logistics of third-party suppliers. Additionally, the plant will minimize the number of mixer trips on city roads, reducing the burden on the environment and roads.

      It is worth noting that the school in Kotel'nich previously became a long-term construction project, which local residents nicknamed the "school of ichthyosaurs" due to the water-filled pit. The previous contractor — TD "Assa" — missed all deadlines: the contract for the construction of the educational institution for 461 students with a swimming pool was signed in 2023, but work was practically not carried out. The regional authorities terminated the contract with the unscrupulous company in the spring of 2025.

      In April 2026, the construction company "ROST" became the new contractor and received a positive conclusion from the state examination on engineering surveys. This was the first stage of passing the examination, after which the approval of the main project of the school complex is next. At that time, the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, called the current contractor "having a good reputation" and expressed hope that the construction would be completed on time, and that in the fall of 2027, children would be able to attend the new school.
