Cable car, bike path, and carousels: what will be done in Lenin District

      In the village of Lenin's, in the Shabalinsky district, the implementation of the project "Bogorodskoye - Lenin's - Shabalino" is planned (let us remind you that the village of Lenin's was previously called Bogorodskoye). The project involves the improvement of the historical center - namely, the park area on Sadovaya Street, the territory between the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin and the military enlistment office. It has become the winner of the all-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment.

      As reported on the government procurement website, the initial price of the contract is 45 million rubles. The deadline for submitting applications is until May 22. The work must be completed from the moment the contract is signed until October 30, 2026. Early completion is possible. The warranty period will be four years.

      The contractor will have to create pedestrian zones (which will be paved with cobblestones), a bike path, and bike parking (the latter will be made from a whole log), a section of the roadway, a lawn, parking, and an artificial stream. They will also install lamps, video cameras, art objects, benches, and trash bins, as well as plant flowers, trees, and shrubs. Some benches will also be made from logs, and there will be artificial stumps to sit on.

      In addition, the area will feature cafes, a pavilion (possibly a retail one), tennis and chess tables, various swings and carousels, play complexes for children (including wooden ones), a sandbox, an obstacle course, gazebos, and even a street library. The cherry on top will be a cable car with a length of 33.7 meters; however, cabins are not provided - instead, there will be a zip line.
