The creative competition "Vyatka: Unity of Peoples" at Vyatka State University concluded, dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Future teachers, as part of their pedagogical practice, developed interactive posters with schoolchildren dedicated to the ethnic diversity of the Kirov region. The result of their joint work was 20 unique and educational projects. VyatSU student Ulyana Rimskaya created a poster together with fifth-graders from the Municipal Budgetary Educational Institution Secondary School with UIOP No. 74 in Kirov. The team set an ambitious goal: not only to present the rich ethnic heritage of the small peoples of the Kirov region but also to emphasize Russia's role as a historical center uniting these unique cultures. "The journey through the poster begins in 1489 – the year when the Vyatka lands joined the unified Russian state. Numerous interactive elements allow not only to learn history but also to touch it: solve quizzes, try on national costumes on dolls, and get acquainted with outstanding figures of art from Vyatka."

The educational posters not only address the theme of national unity in the Kirov region but also cater to the interests of schoolchildren. For example, fourth-year student Anna Kibaridina, together with a student from the Engineering and Railway Lyceum, developed a poster inviting viewers on an exciting journey through Vyatka by train, where each carriage represents a new chapter in history and culture. The project by Daria Speshilova and Alina Suetina was particularly admired, becoming a true treasure trove of interactivity. Moving figures, thematic crosswords, photo stories, mini-books – all of this was organically woven into the fabric of the poster "Vyatka – a home for all." "The center of our composition is a mirror, symbolizing national unity. Looking into it, everyone understands: they are also part of our common history, our big family," the authors of the poster explained.

Galina Nekrasova, a professor at the Department of Technology and Methods of Teaching Technology at VyatSU, thanked the students for their participation in the competition, emphasizing: "You have done a truly heartfelt deed. You vividly and engagingly told about the diversity of the peoples inhabiting our region. This information will undoubtedly become a valuable aid for schoolchildren." Some of the posters will be handed over to schools for conducting classes. Crosswords, QR codes, quizzes, wise proverbs and sayings, fascinating facts, and word puzzles – these and many other activities will make the educational process not only informative but also truly exciting.

Every victory begins with a dream: the regional stage of the "Abilympics" championship has started at VyatSU. Practice in a diplomatic format: VyatSU translation students visited the Brazilian Embassy in Moscow.
