      At the meeting of the Kirov City Duma, Deputy Vladimir Zhuravlev raised the topic of schools. He suggested several options to the authorities for where new schools could be opened or built. We wrote about one of them (the school in Makarye) here.

      In addition, Zhuravlev proposed that the administration contact the management of the construction company "KSM," which owns the land near Victory Park, and negotiate the construction of a school there. In return, they could give the company land plots for residential construction, for example, in the Shubino - Ganino area.

      In the new building, the deputy suggested placing School No. 21. In his opinion, the city would only benefit from the agreement with the developer, gaining a new school in a suitable location.

      The deputy also lamented that a location for the duplicate of School No. 37 has still not been chosen in Kirov. Previously, it was planned to be located behind "Scarlet Sails," however, regional authorities allocated the land to the prosecutor's office. Zhuravlev expressed the opinion that this could be a political decision. According to him, the prosecutor's office also does not understand the logic behind this action.
