At night, a man was beaten and robbed in Lepse.
A 45-year-old resident of the city reported to the police that he was attacked by an unknown person on Lepse Street. According to the victim, the assailant struck him several times, then took his mobile phone and fled. The damage amounted to about 25,000 rubles.
Criminal investigation officers quickly identified the suspect and detained him. He turned out to be a 27-year-old man from Kirov, previously convicted of theft. The stolen phone was confiscated from him.
A criminal case has been initiated against the man under Part 2 of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery with the use of violence not dangerous to life or health). Currently, investigative actions are being conducted to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
