Schools in Kirovo-Chepetsk are actively preparing for the "UralchemCLASS" competition.
The competition is held to identify and support the project activity of general educational organizations aimed at improving the quality of education. This year it consists of two stages: remote and in-person. First, schools submit competition materials for review and evaluation, and then a creative defense of the works takes place.
Representatives of "Uralchem" — deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov region Alexander Ivanishin and Elena Alexandrovna visited several educational institutions and observed how the preparation for the competition is going.
The projects are diverse: the creation of an agro-technological center and media space, equipping chemistry and computer science classrooms, expanding the theater studio — and this is far from all. It is important that all interested parties participate in the discussion of ideas: parents, school staff, and children.
The results of the educational projects competition "UralchemCLASS" will be announced in mid-May. Three schools will receive grant support from "Uralchem" for their projects totaling 5 million rubles.
Alexander Ivanishin, chief technologist of the nitrogen cycle at the branch "KCHHK" of JSC "OHC "Uralchem", deputy of the Legislative Assembly:
— We can already see that the new approach, the new mechanics of conducting the competition have justified themselves: many proactive people are involved in the project preparation process. And schools will ultimately receive projects that are truly needed by everyone, which will help children in their studies and make their school life more diverse.
