Landslide in Kirov threatens residential buildings

      The incident was reported on his page on "VKontakte" by Deputy Vladimir Malkov. It turned out that the ground shifted due to melting water, which is eroding the mountain from the side of Vodoprovodnaya Street. While the ground displacement is currently minor, experts believe the situation could worsen.

      "The scale is still small, but this is a worrying signal. Without measures, the houses on Vodoprovodnaya risk sliding, and those on Lesnaya risk being buried in earth," Malkov wrote.

      At the same time, according to the Kirov Central Hydrometeorological Service, the weather has prepared more surprises in the coming days: after the thaw, nighttime frosts, wet snow, and icy conditions will arrive. Meteorologists warn of the unstable nature of the weather — from rain to snow and icy roads.
