Residents of the Kurachkin settlement were recalculated for heating after the accident.

      The incident occurred on February 4 in the settlement of Kurochkino. Due to damage to utility networks, the supply of heating resources was completely disrupted, resulting in damage to residential buildings on several streets, kindergarten No. 5, and school No. 32.

      On the day of the accident, the prosecutor's office of the Lenin district, at the request of the prosecutor of the Kirov region, took special control over the development of the situation. At that time, the agency stated the need for a subsequent recalculation of payments for poor services for all affected consumers.

      Almost three months later, the supervisory agency summarized the results of the inspection. It was established that the resource-supplying organization and utility services carried out restoration work; however, shortly after the network was launched, a repeated defect was identified. The regulatory deadlines for eliminating the accident were violated, which led to a violation of citizens' rights.

      The prosecutor's office submitted a presentation to the director of the management company. As a result, residents of six houses received a recalculation of heating payments totaling more than 260,000 rubles. The responsible official was held accountable.
