The construction of the rhythmic gymnastics center has been entrusted to "Grazhdanremstroy."

      Let us remind you that at the beginning of 2026, the authorities announced plans to build a center for rhythmic gymnastics and wrestling in Kirov. 1.6 billion rubles were allocated for this. The complex is to be located on the territory of the former KVATU. Recently, the results were summarized. The company that proposed to carry out the work for an amount equal to the initial contract price won. Our sources had already suggested at that time that the winner was the company "Grazhdanremstroy." Today, April 19, the regional Ministry of Construction confirmed this information. A contract with "Grazhdanremstroy" has already been signed. According to it, the work must be completed by December 1, 2028. The total area of the three-story center will be 9,981 square meters. It will have three zones — a large and a small block, as well as a communication block. The large block will house a hall for rhythmic gymnastics, stands for 500 seats, a warm-up area, changing rooms, rooms for coaches and judges, a media zone, medical, administrative, and utility zones. The small block will feature a universal gym for general physical training, a choreography hall, a gym, rooms for wrestling and boxing classes, changing rooms, coaches' rooms, a medical zone, a cafeteria, and a dining hall. The communication block will include an entrance area for spectators and athletes. It will have a lobby, changing rooms, a cafeteria, a storage room, and restrooms.
