Office fashion by the rules: 48% of Kirov employees adhere to the dress code.
Researchers from SuperJob found out how the office wardrobe situation is in companies in Kirov. It turned out that requirements for appearance are not uncommon: 48% of respondents working on the employer's premises adhere to them. At the same time, a strict dress code (for example, mandatory three-piece suits) is established only for 8% of those surveyed. The remaining 40% are satisfied with adhering to a general business style — without a jacket, but neat.
Interestingly, the overwhelming majority of employees (85%) equip themselves at their own expense. Full reimbursement for clothing expenses or free sets from the company are received by only 6% of Kirov residents, while another 3% receive partial compensation or individual items of clothing. Despite personal expenses, office workers are generally loyal to the rules: 57% stated that they like the dress code, while 35% have a sympathetic attitude towards it. Only 8% perceive the corporate style negatively.
Kirov residents assess the influence of clothing on their careers moderately — at 5.5 points out of 10. However, women consider this factor slightly more significant (5.7 compared to 5.3 for men). Every eighth respondent (12%) is confident that their appearance and willingness to adhere to the rules played a decisive role in their professional growth — these respondents gave the maximum score of 10 points. Employers are evaluated on social networks even by those who are not looking for a job. Every fifth Kirov school student combines school with work. 133 thousand a month: who employers are looking for in Kirov in April.
