In the Kirov region, 14,500 applications for tax benefits were submitted in three months.

      The Federal Tax Service for the Kirov Region has published data on the number of applications for property tax benefits. In the first quarter of 2026 alone, more than 14,500 applications were received from individuals. For comparison, a total of 30,908 such applications were submitted in 2025.

      The mass calculation of property taxes for 2025 will begin at the end of April 2026. Tax officials recommend submitting applications before this deadline—then the amounts of benefits will be immediately taken into account when calculating taxes, and citizens will receive correctly prepared notifications.

      Some categories of Kirov residents do not need to submit an application. Benefits are provided automatically based on information from the Social Fund of Russia, the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography, regional social protection authorities, and federal agencies where military service is provided. This list includes:

      pensioners and pre-pensioners;

      disabled individuals;

      veterans of combat operations;

      citizens affected by radiation due to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster;

      individuals with three or more minor children;

      owners of agricultural buildings with an area of no more than 50 square meters;

      men aged 60 and over and women aged 55 and over;

      participants in special military operations and their family members.

      Other beneficiaries need to submit an application independently. It concerns transport tax, land tax, and property tax for individuals (form KND 1150063).

      The Tax Code does not set a deadline for submitting such applications. However, the Federal Tax Service recommends doing this before the start of the mass calculation—i.e., by the end of April 2026.

      The most convenient way, according to the agency, is electronic. Through the "Personal Account for Individual Taxpayers" on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia, you need to:

      generate a free electronic signature;

      go to the "Catalog of Applications" section;

      select the "Apply for Benefit" subsection;

      choose "Application for Property Tax Benefits";

      click "Submit Application";

      fill out the form, attach a copy of the supporting document;

      sign with an electronic signature and send it.
