In the Kirov region, a new support measure has been introduced for rural stores and entrepreneurs — compensation for fuel expenses. The subsidy will cover up to 90% of costs for gasoline or diesel.
As reported by the regional Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade, the assistance is intended for those working in small settlements. This refers to stores that are the only retail points in villages and hamlets, as well as entrepreneurs engaged in delivery trade.
The selection of subsidy recipients is planned for May. To participate, it is necessary to submit an application through the "Electronic Budget" system. At the same time, the delivery routes must be pre-approved by local administrations.
According to the press service of the regional government, similar support has been provided before. In 2025, subsidies were received by 25 organizations in 18 districts of the region.
