An underground gaming club was raided in Vyatskiye Polyany.

      In Vyatskie Polyany, a local resident was sentenced for organizing an underground gambling club in a premises on Bazovaya Street. As established by the prosecutors, from March to October 2025, the woman used 25 personal computers to conduct gambling activities, although such activities are prohibited by federal law in the Kirov region. The illegal business lasted for several months, but ultimately it was shut down. The state prosecution was supported by the Vyatskie Polyany inter-district prosecutor's office in court. The defendant was charged under Part 1 of Article 171.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal organization and conduct of gambling using gaming equipment outside the gaming zone). The court, having studied all the circumstances of the case and the personality of the defendant, imposed a penalty in the form of a fine of 100,000 rubles. In addition, the woman was ordered to pay back almost 200,000 rubles in income obtained through criminal means. At the prosecutor's insistence, all gaming equipment, including the 25 computers, was confiscated for the benefit of the state.
