The authorities of Vyatskiye Polyany allocated 6.3 million rubles for the redesign of the water supply system reconstruction project. A corresponding competition was recently announced. The commission is currently summarizing its results. The adjustment of the project (along with obtaining the state expert review) should be completed by September 30, 2026.
Judging by the documentation published on the state procurement website, after updating the project, the authorities want to carry out the reconstruction of the "Khlebozavodskoy" water intake, which consists of one artesian well with a water tower, three standalone artesian wells, one pumping station, and other facilities.
It should be noted that the original project was developed about five years ago by the company "Grazhdanproyekt." Since then, competitions have been repeatedly announced to find a contractor to carry out the reconstruction. The amounts allocated for it varied — from 48 to 69 million rubles. However, each time problems arose — either there were no applications for the competition, or there were, but they did not meet the requirements, or the competition was canceled altogether, or contracts with contractors were terminated. By the way, this also happened last time — in 2025, a contract was concluded with MUP "Vodokanal" for 50 million rubles, but it had to be terminated. Probably, the authorities hope that after the project adjustment, the situation will change.
