Over the past 24 hours, on April 11, fire and rescue units of the Kirov region extinguished 7 man-made fires, as well as responded to two traffic accidents and other incidents.
Significant fires occurred in several districts of the region. In the village of Kiknur on Prosveshcheniya Street, flames engulfed a private residential house and an outbuilding covering an area of 84 square meters. According to preliminary reports, the cause was a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
In the village of Leninskoye in the Shabalinsky district, a fire broke out in a residential building with extensions, covering an area of 150 square meters. Here, it is presumed that the fire was caused by a malfunction of the heating equipment.
Another incident was recorded in the village of Bolshie Logunovy in the Slobodsky district, where a four-apartment residential building caught fire. The flames spread over an area of 30 square meters. The preliminary cause is also a short circuit.
Dozens of EMERCOM employees and special equipment participated in extinguishing the fires. The circumstances of all incidents are being clarified.
