In the village of Suvodi, a tragedy occurred: on the night of April 8 to 9, an elderly man passed away. A report of the incident was received by the police, after which an investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene.
As law enforcement established, on the evening of April 8, two pensioners were drinking alcohol in one of their apartments. A conflict arose between the men, during which the host struck the guest on the head with a salad bowl.
The victim died on the spot from the injury sustained. The suspect, a 69-year-old man, was detained and taken to the police station.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under the article on intentional infliction of serious harm to health, resulting in the death of the victim. The court has chosen a measure of restraint for the accused in the form of detention.
