Irbis, Irsen, and Plumbum are looking for a home.
Kirov police are looking for caring owners for three service dogs. German Shepherds Irbis, Irsen, and Plumbum can no longer work in law enforcement but can certainly become loyal pets. The dogs are being given away free of charge in accordance with the Federal Law "On Responsible Animal Care" (No. 498-FZ). The decision was made after specialists deemed further service use of the dogs impossible.
Eight-year-old Irbis and Irsen have reached retirement age. Over the years of service, they have proven to be excellent specialists in searching for and detecting target scents — they have often assisted colleagues from the internal affairs agencies during preventive inspections. Their colleague, four-year-old Plumbum, also has a positive service record and has helped solve crimes, but due to health issues, he is forced to end his career early.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that the dogs need not a service kennel, but a warm home, care, and regular attention. For inquiries, call: +7 (8332) 57-66-17. Calls can be made on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
