A resident of Kirov has been accumulating debts for three years and may now lose his "Mercedes."
The Federal Bailiff Service of Russia in the Kirov region told the story of a notorious debtor. The enforcement officers of the Soviet, Lebyazhsky, and Verkhoshizhemsky districts accumulated 75 enforcement proceedings against one citizen. The reason is dozens of unpaid fines, mainly for violating traffic rules. The total amount of debt exceeded 160,000 rubles. But that's not all: for ignoring court orders, the man was charged an enforcement fee of over 100,000 rubles. The debtor apparently hoped to evade responsibility: he did not reside at his registered address and did not contact the bailiffs. However, this calculation did not work out. During a check of his property status, agency employees discovered that the Kirov resident owned a luxury car — a 2012 Mercedes Benz E200. The car was promptly declared wanted. By getting involved in the case, the department for the search of debtors and their property of the Federal Bailiff Service in the region was able to determine the location of the foreign car. The Mercedes was seized and transported to a specialized parking lot. Now the owner has two options. The first is to pay off more than 260,000 rubles (including debts, fees, and costs for enforcement actions) in the near future and retrieve the car. The second is that the car will be sold at auction to pay off the fines. The bailiffs warn: there is no time to delay, otherwise the elite German car will become a lot at the auction.

A resident of the Soviet district decided that 160 thousand rubles in fines could be avoided simply by changing his address. However, the bailiffs found not only him but also a luxurious 2012 Mercedes Benz E200 sedan. Now the man risks losing his foreign car — the vehicle has already been seized and sent to a special parking lot.
