The "Big Nest" center needs help for the chick Penka.
One of the residents, a swiftlet named Penka, will no longer be able to fly south due to wing contractures.
Penka's story began in August of last year. Someone noticed a tiny creature on the ground, covered in hardened mounting foam. The chick was picked up and brought to the "Big Nest." Volunteers cleaned it feather by feather. Penka turned out to be a fighter: he patiently endured all the procedures. But due to the long period of being glued, the swiftlet developed contractures — his wings could not fully open. Now he lives in the center forever.
With the arrival of spring, Penka noticeably perked up: he often flaps his wings, and the instinct calls him for a long flight. But he remains in the center. Soon, new swifts will start to be brought there — little ones who, for various reasons, have been left alone. For them to grow strong and one day embark on their first flight, they need special food — frozen insects. It must be purchased within the next five days before it sells out.
Those who wish can provide financial support. To do this, you need to write a private message in the center's public page.
